Featured Project
Aureus Solutions develop operational and maintenance procedures for four First Nations communities in Ontario, each with unique water treatment systems and operational challenges. These communities faced issues such as inconsistent practices, limited access to clear documentation, challenges establishing maintenance responsibilities, and difficulties onboarding new operators - especially as experienced staff retired or transitioned out. Aureus worked closely with each community to develop site-specific, easy-to-follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that reflected local terminology and practices. The procedures covered both daily operations and preventative maintenance, helping to improve safety, support operator training, and ensure consistent, reliable system performance. This collaborative effort helped strengthen long-term operational resilience and knowledge retention across all four communities.
